Include the information 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) requires. 37 CFR 201.38 also wants the service provider’s legal name and a physical mail address (street or post office box), a telephone number, and email on this page once the directory listing exists. The current US mailing block is interim (name + United States) until the SOS street or PO box is supplied. Phone is not published yet.

What to send

A substantially complete notice is enough for us to hide the source from serving.

  • Your signature (physical or electronic).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • The Library source id or URL of the material.
  • Your name, email, and mailing address.
  • A statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act.
Process

We hide first, then review

Takedown writes an append-only audit row and removes the source from serving. We do not argue the claim before hiding.

Operator-only product path: POST /api/cloud/docs/{id}/takedown and the zephr_docs takedown-source action. Public crawl sources are operated by Synapsic; we do not restore a crawled source without counsel.

Counter-notice

Tenant uploads only

Counter-notice applies when a subscriber uploaded the material, not when Synapsic crawled a public site.

If you uploaded the material

We will forward a substantially complete notice and tell you how to send a counter-notice under § 512(g). Restoration, if any, follows the statutory waiting period.

If we crawled the material

There is no counter-notice. Synapsic is the copier. Restoration needs counsel, not a subscriber dispute.

Repeat infringer

Two upheld notices in twelve months

Planned enforcement for tenant Library import. Public crawl is Synapsic-operated, not a subscriber.

After two upheld DMCA notices against the same tenant in twelve months, we may suspend that tenant’s Library import. Counsel can tighten this policy.

Honesty

What we do not claim

No certification. No claim that robots.txt is a legal shield. Library is not used to train models.

Zephr is not certified under SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA. This page is a notice process, not a compliance badge. Crawler policy: /legal/crawler.
